Basic Stripes – A Plus Size Outfit

The last weeks have been a constant up and down, but I don’t want to dwell on things I have talked about at length with basically everyone and rather move on to something more cheery than tonsillitis.

It’s Summer in Scotland, so I’ve got a summer outfit for you today. Wait what, did I just hear someone say: „This looks exactly like the other outfits you posted the rest of the year!“? Well, yes kind of.  To be honest my day to day style consists of a lot of the same pieces at the moment. I think I’ve got three slightly different  basic striped long-sleeves and a striped t-shirt in my closet right now. I’ve also got this skirt in black (which I have shown you here). Together with a blue and a black pair of high waisted skinny jeans, and a few other pieces that’s pretty much all I am living in right now.

And weather wise it’s either one layer more or one layer less, a slightly thinner or a slightly thicker coat and I am almost always good to go in Edinburgh. Though I have to admit I do finally need a rain coat.

It’s July and so far we had a few warm days and maybe a handful of hot* days, I even spend one of them on the beach and dipped my feet into the water. But otherwise I didn’t even bother to look into summer clothes, though there are some more brave people who actually sport sandals, bare legs and crop tops, even if it’s windy and just 15°C.

These lovely outfit picture were taken by my sweet friend Amanda. We met for a coffee and a big arse smoothie (it was so good!) at Cult Espresso the other day, and Amanda was so kind to take some picture of me. I do feel extra cute in the sitting ones, to be honest.

I hope I am going to blog a little more again soon, I’ve got at least one other post planned and maybe I will just bore you with more outfit posts of pretty much the same clothes all the time.
